Like all major tourist attractions, the Eden project has to keep up to date with its maintenance work, and to keep the surfacing looking pristine, CSS are asked to come in and 'make good' areas of asphalt re-instatement. Working very early before the visitors arrive ensures the paths are kept clear, and the vital work is completed at short notice.
